As Americans Get Poorer, Members of Congress Get Richer

As Americans Get Poorer, Members of Congress Get Richer: While millions of Americans saw their incomes decrease, their job opportunities dissipate and their home values drop as the economy dipped, the 535 men and women they elected to represent them in the U.S. Congress were not only shielded from the economic downturn but gained during...

53%

We are the 53%, those in America, still in our jobs, in our homes,  and making our payments to our bill collectors. We pay what is asked us, not asking for anymore then what we paid for. We work at jobs that we may not always enjoy or want to always go to. We pays for the things that we buy and don’t buy anymore then what we could afford. We live in homes that are now sometimes cheaper then we can bought them for, yet still stay in them.

We are becoming tired of watching those with bad legs get disability, yet jog everywhere. Tired of watching people with twelve children ask why we are not doing or giving more. Tired of those who could not afford there home, stay in those homes with a cheaper mortgage and a cheaper price. We are just getting that the left took over the 99% and are asking the 1% to pay more for them. Just so tired of the tea-party getting taken over by the right who refuse to here we don’t want to pay anymore for city managers who make more then what the houses are worth in those cities.

We the 53% should get together throw out the left and the right. Stop paying for more government that does less for us then they do for themselves.

Irene

We see that no matter what Obama talks about it fails. He states unemployement won't go above 8% now around 9%. He states green jobs will get us going, and they are now either in China or closed. He bought Chevy to make electric cars and only around 400 are sold. We see what ever he says its just not true.

To become Europe

Have we become europe? Where the government owns the land? I thought this is the United States of America, not England, France or Germany. We the people should have ownership of land. We should glad the prices of property is falling this alows those with a good credit rating, a little bit of money, and some faith in our fellow man, to buy property and create or own wealth.

Interesting Week

Well it has been an interesting week, with Usama Bin Laden Dead and Barak Obama lying a reef at ground zero to remember the death.

I find it quite strange that President Obama would not lay a reef at the anniversary of September11th, but lay a reef when the person that America proposes masterminded the whole deed is dead.

Is this to honor Usama and the deed he did, or to honor the fallen that the plot killed? Did the President lay a reef at Arlington when Saddam Hussain died, to honor those in the military who had fallen? Are these two different because those who say America should not bully, and are now asking to take down Muammar Gaddafi?

Where are we in time when the wolves are at our gates and we can only defend them? Is this Rome? Are the dark ages here, soon to consume us, because of a ration of soup is more important then a ration of the spirit?

Happy St. George’s Day!

Happy St. George’s day to all The English people and the Catholic faith.

I am an American, who would like to say hi to those proud British folk through out the world. It is funny here in America we celebrate St. Patrick’s day, but not St.George’s day. Just think of the parades and fun we all could have, with red beer and fish and proper chips. We can celebrate what England has brought to America and show a sign of support to the British by having this day.St. George's Flaghttp://youtu.be/c8D3c58oMU4

Libya, Libya where fore are thou?

29Mar

do We believe in America and what they say. do we want a new devil in the old devil’s place. why do we support the new Libya rebels and not Iran’s. why do those on the right shout 14 days ago to defend the rebels and now shout to stop defending the new devil? why do those on the left shout stay away 14 days ago, cheer a coalition supported by France and England, but not by the American people?

None of the leaders in Libya are friend or allies of the west. France and England have a strategic need, because of the oil and gas supplies for there economy. America has allies in France and England, but is no friend to Libya.

Do we still believe in America? I can not say for sure any more, We used to be proud on what we did, We used to pick up a big stick and hit enemies, without worrying what anyone, even in America said about the stick.

Hypocrites of the left

http://www.mydesert.com/article/20110130/NEWS01/110130006/Protest-nets-25-passive-arrests-?odyssey=mod
Allowing the left such as George Soros influance politics, is not the same as the Koch's
influance?? How can this be? Does the right not have the ame right as the left? I guess not. I am glad there are some on the Right shouting, just like the left. I am tired of the feel good hippies on the left playing innocent and screaming how bad the right is. They allow The likes of George Soros give them money, but refuse the Right from receiving money from the like of the Koch's.
We are still a republic democracy not a progressive solialist, were the will of the people vote government in to make the laws and when we don't like those laws we are not forced into them, but are able to vote them out.

A State of the Union

I watched a man who wants us to believe he is trying to appeal to the centre of the Union, but all I heard is spend money on green jobs, take money from the "rich" and allow the government to have more control.
I can not believe nor do I want to compormise to the middle. This is not how we save the past nor the future. We as a people, must stand on principal of the Constitution that the founding fathers wrote.
The Constitution is not a living breathing thing. It is a set of hardcore principales that take a country to change, not the whim of a person.
